Frequently Asked Questions

STRUTZ® Sole Angels®

Q. What’s the difference between the STRUTZ® Sole Angel®, Beach Walker® and Arch Compression Band?

A. The Sole Angel® is a medical grade compression band that has built into it a foam cushion pad.  The Sole Angel® provides exceptional support and comfort and can be worn with shoes or barefoot.   It is our most popular product and the same product doctors dispense in their offices.

The STRUTZ® Beach Walker ® is a waterproof version of the Sole Angel®.  It is perfect to wear with flip-flops, sandals or when barefoot poolside or at the beach.  It is made of a silicone material and it is more rigid than the Sole Angel®.

The STRUTZ® Arch Compression Band is a medical grade compression band without the arch support built in.  It provides just enough compression around the mid-foot area like a good pair of socks.  This is great for wearers who just want a little extra support and comfort in their arch and feet.

Q. How do I wear my STRUTZ® Sole Angel®?

A. The STRUTZ® Sole Angel® was designed to be worn with the green fabric touching  the bottom of your foot. It should be positioned mid-foot around the arch area.   However, everybody is different and we all have particular areas of our feet that need more support than others so the Sole Angel® can be rotated, or moved back and forth depending on what feels most comfortable to the wearer

Q. Do I need to “break-in” my STRUTZ® Sole Angel®?

A. STRUTZ® Sole Angels® help by creating an arch for your foot by providing support and absorbing shock as you walk or run.  We suggest a short break-in period such as wearing the Sole Angel® one hour the first day, two hours the next day and so on until you can wear it all day long.  This allows your foot to get accustomed to wearing the Sole Angel® and causes the Sole Angel’s®  cushion pad to mold into a perfect arch support for you. Detailed instructions about how to use Sole Angels® are included with each purchase.

Q. Can I wash my STRUTZ® Sole Angel®?

A. Yes.  Sole Angels® are hand washable with mild soap and water.  You should rinse it well and allow it to air dry.  Do not machine wash, tumble dry or dry-clean.

Q. If I have a medical condition like diabetes or poor circulation, can I wear STRUTZ® Sole Angels®?

A. Do not use the STRUTZ® Sole Angel®, Beach Walker® or Arch Compression band products if you have a serious medical problem.  You should consult with your doctor before wearing.
